Derived from the botulinum toxin, Botox and Dysport, are the one one of, if not the most medical spa treatment. They are commonly used to treat and or prevent wrinkles at the crow’s feet, frown lines, neck wrinkles, forehead creases, and smile lines.

If your lines and wrinkles bother you, then most likely you are a good candidate. These wrinkles and lines are most common around the mouth, eyes, forehead, and neck, In addition, if you are suffering from Temporomandibular joint syndrome A.K.A TMJ syndrome, hyperhidrosis on underarms or hands, and migraine, administration of Botox or Dysport would be beneficial for you. The medical staff will meet with you during your complimentary consultation to assess and discuss your treatment and goals.
Overall Botox and Dysport are similar. Both are types of botulinum type A and are both approved by the FDA to relax the muscles that causes static and dynamic wrinkles / lines. By relaxing the muscles it will give the skin a smoother look.  If we compare their molecular structures, Dysport is a smaller-sized molecule so its unit of measurement is different than Botox.
 
While both help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, it does not get rid of them permanently. Neither treatment gets rid of existing wrinkles for good, but the effects are meant to make wrinkles less noticeable.
 
While both products contain similar active ingredients they contain trace proteins which can makes the patient respond better compared to the other.
 
Administration of these neuromodulator toxins is not a cookie-cutter-one-size-fits-all. And this is where a knowledgeable and experienced injector comes in. Your injector would discuss your goals and recommend treatment plans and would administer these “toxins” strategically to attain your aesthetic goals. 
During the consultation, the medical staff will assess and discuss your concerns and goals. Identification of specific muscles to be treated will be presented to you as well. Then, your medical provider will use an ultra-fine needle to make a series of injections to those identified muscles.

The effects of Neuromodulator toxins (Botox and Dysport) usually last between three and six months. When the wrinkles and/or medical symptoms of TMJ, hyperhidrosis and migraine begin to slowly return, then please make another appointment to return to the clinic.
